A Sunday School class at Freedom consists of 3 to 30 people gathering weekly on Sunday mornings. During the group’s time together members study God’s word, engage in fellowship, encourage one another, and pray for each other, the church and the community. Sunday School classes exist to fulfill the commands of scripture, which include equipping the body of Christ (Eph. 4:12), training in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16-18), sharpening one another through love and accountability (Pro. 27:17), evangelizing the lost (Pro. 11:30) and fulfilling the Great Commission by being and making disciples for a lifetime (Matt. 28:18-20).

At their core, Sunday School classes are small congregations where people can be made to feel welcome and included, are shepherded through the highs and the lows of life, given opportunities to serve with those closest to them, and have the opportunity to grow together with people who are in the same or similar stage of life. We value community and fellowship so much at Freedom, therefore, we offer classes for all ages, genders and stages of life, because we believe that everyone needs to be connected in the body of Christ.
